Rover Voyageur Core is the software that turns a Rover into an autonomous system. It enables everything from remote teleoperation to fully autonomous navigation using a single, browser-based interface that works on any device.

For buyers, Voyageur Core reduces deployment risk and accelerates time to value by delivering proven autonomy out of the box—no custom navigation stack required. For engineers, it provides a ROS 2–based, modular autonomy framework designed for real-world terrain, mixed environments, and continuous extension.

What You Get

Voyageur Core allows operators to manually drive a robot when needed and transition seamlessly to autonomy during the same mission. Sensor data from LiDAR, IMU, GPS or RTK, and cameras is fused in real time to create a reliable understanding of the robot’s environment, enabling consistent navigation indoors and outdoors.

Autonomous behaviors include waypoint navigation, geofencing, GPS beacon follow, mapping and SLAM, obstacle avoidance, and dynamic path planning. These capabilities are ready to deploy and configurable without rebuilding the system.

Voyageur Core is fully supported across all Rover Robotics platforms, including Mini, MITI, MAX, Pro, MEGA, and Zero. It runs on standard compute platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson Orin or Intel NUC and integrates with commonly used sensors.

The system is built on ROS 2, is open and modular by design, and includes developer tooling and simulation environments to accelerate development and validation. While optimized for Rover platforms today, the architecture is designed to scale to additional robotic systems as programs grow.

Multi-robot and swarm capabilities are built into the Voyageur architecture and nearing completion. This allows teams to start with a single robot and scale into coordinated fleet operations without changing software stacks.
